cheaper because OBD2 costs more to mod, and cheaper because to buy the same car in a 91 or a 96, in the same condition, the 91 is gonna be cheaper.

And not quite the same mechanicals.  We can go ghetto fab on the older ones easier.  older 1g cars come with stock 6bolt engines etc.  You guys have better manifolds, better basic suspension design and some small things however, and more off the shelf parts for sure, but they cost more.

 I do admit.  I see a lot of 1G owners dumping out good parts for sale at good prices around here than 2Gs.

Just my observations on a plus about 1Gs.
