That's because there is no obvious.  You need to datalog your results, and see how much knock you are getting.

14PSI and NO mods is not a good idea - let alone on mid grade gas.

Do some of the free mods in VFAQ and consider improving your flow (K&N/Cat-back)

You might be ok, or you might not.

The safest course of action is to turn the boost down until you have someone log your car for knock.

Quoted from 1000Q.

'1G cars have a stock boost pressure of 8-12 psi. 2G cars have 10-15 psi. The service manual allows lower pressures, but those are rarely seen in actual vehicles.'

A range of 10-15?

I guess 2Gs have maybe 3 or maybe 4 pistons too.......

From the other posts - looks like I am wrong anyway

Did not think 2Gs started base with that much boost.

an, I watched your boost gauge, it maybe spikes to 14 at one point, but in the upper range it's back down to about 11.

That's cause 2gs come with the crappy t25, so they need to icnrease psi to make up the small cfm it flows :P

1gs have the superior 14b :).
