Keyless Entry Question.
« on: November 03, 2004, 04:45:35 pm »
I bought my car and didnt get the keyless remote with the keys.
I went to the dealer and got a printout of what my car comes with. It says I do have Keyless entry installed.

What is my best option? should I pay the 100 bucks for a new transmitter remote or should I go with aftermarket with auto carstarter etc?

What is my best option...plus if i buy the factory transmitter how do I program it to my car?

thanks for any help!!

How long ago was this?  If it was recent, go to the dealer and say "you said it has keyless, where's my remote?!"  and they'll have to get one for you.

Got an alarm yet?

If not - put the $100 toward it. (Mine was 200 installed)

Alarms prtty much all have auto door lock/unlock

I bought the car private so no chance getting the remote from the seller, plus he only had the vallet key, luckily I made a master.

I have the stock alarm in the car.......maybe I should disconnect it and get the aftermarket alarm...

That would probably be better then the factory alarm too.

thanks

I'd definately recommend getting an aftermarket alarm and for the sake of all thats good and holy, get a disabler
