Right one which is my new one since February. It has sprint springs with Koni adjustables, 17 inch ACE replica, Hallman MBC, Walbro 255lph, Boost&Air/fuel ratio gauge. I've also bought a whole bunch of parts that I have not installed yet. Starion FMIC, Apex'i 3inch DP, HKS SSQV, Apex'i S-AFC, Greddy oil catch can kit, autometer pyrometer, 95' throttle body elbow, 95' MAF, and many more. Not enough time to install these goodies, some help would be great, but ah well it's a slow ongoing project.

The hood is from Suncoast Creations in Florida (yes, it's functional too) - and I got the first one made for a DSM... although, I wasn't the first one to actually install it on their car :roll:

And the color, in case anyone is curious, is HOK Kameleon Sapphire over a black base (the car was originally red). It shifts from black to metallic blue to metallic dark purple... have to see it personally to appreciate 8)

It was from FxDesigns.com. Definately not an ebay kit. I was suprised at the quality of the kit when it arrived. Virtually a bolt on kit.

You need to find a site to host your pictures, I use photobucket.com.
Upload your pictures to the host site, then copy the image url and paste it in your post.

I used a graduated orange filter for the sky and used a hdr process on the photo that gives it higher tonal range and saturation.

What made me think of it was the curves in it...I saw an RX7 parked outside a Bestbuy one day, walked up to it and the curves looked really close to the ones on the 2G. So I took a chance and bought it blindly off a dude from Texas on ebay. His FD died in a fire so he was selling whatever he could. It had a little bit of meltage on it but one of my bro's is a kick ass bodyman and he brought it back to life. lol

i have used the KYB Gr2 shocks in the jetta and in the storm... for me they hold up fine! just as good as the oem struts
Maybe its just the 1g dsm versions that sucks.
Those cars are both significantly easier on dampeners than a dsm, being about 1000lbs lighter.

KYB made the stock shocks for mitsu/chrysler that were used on all DSM's.
so buying GR2's is pretty much buying a replacement OEM shock. Im not sure if the OEM KYB's were gas tho, i assume they were.

They're just not. I normally agree with you but they're not comparable to OE in quality. I was able to slide over pothole'd dirt roads at 100km on 15 year old OE struts for hours without issues. If I did that on GR2's they wouldn't last 6 months.

nothings changed since it was tuned last in november of 2010... maybe you heard it at wide open throttle for the first time? I usually just cruise hahaLol wasn't at open throttl was the idle that sounded off like lumpy as if you unplugged the MAF but it could just be me lol still sounds sweet :)

Thanks zach, yea I'm not going all to crazy with this one, awd swap and the turbo head swap are the only big things going on her. Even then, I'm only going with a 16g, should be fast enough. Then lower it a little, and go with a clean set of wheels. I don't want this to be flashy, just clean.I think the 2.4l pistons will only handle 8 psi boost. :(
