how about just bad fuel? siphon/drain/otherwise remove the old fuel and put in new. purge the line, filter and rail by disconnecting the return line at the soft line where it connects to the hard line back to the tank(near the regulator) and running the pump.
pull the plugs out and clean/gap/replace them if needed. leave plugs out and crank the engine for a few seconds to purge the fuel in the rail and injectors.
hook it all up again and try it now with a fresh battery.
totally could be a skipped timing belt, low compression, bad ground, bad PCM etc, but if its been sitting for a long time the fuel goes bad.
