awe man i'm so jealous! first o gotta go turbo! then the mods will come :?
1 laser rs....sold
the only way it was doin 12's in a quarter mile was being dropped off a 1320 foot  cliff
.....stupid university costing so much

eric i think you can classify turboing your n/t laser as a pretty insanely huge mod in itself man :laugh:

No kidding, if you're turboing, you can take care of a few mods right off the bat:

ported 2g manifold, and ported evo 3 o2 housing, bigass turbo, and custom ic pipes

well the main mods are goin to be internals......still thinking of 9:1 compression.....easy to spool up a big 16g, or an evo 16g...... thinking of getting one right off the bat.......instead of wasting time with a 14b.....maybe bigger injectors(550's or bigger) but then i need an safc , which will come with time. definately a 2g mani an o2, ported like mad!
might try makin my own pipes.....but we'll haveta wait and see :wink:

when do u plan on haveing your laser back on the road?

because if its not til spring i can always lend u my 14b til u have the $$$ to upgrade to an evo

and don't get a big 16g its evo or don't bother

go big or go home :laugh:

hahah i know twin turbo isn't usually as fast as a single bigger one for some reason.....i've seen a 92 twin turbo...i never rode in it though..it had twin 14b's

eric why even bother turboing your car anyways..if you want speed you should just buy a honda  :rofl: and stop wasting your time with the 4G63 platform when clearly vtec is better... :moon: ..hahahahahah  :roflf:

Twin turbo setups make a lot more sense on "V" motors, where there are two exhaust manifolds but even then they can cause problems if they don't both create the same backpressure. I'm reall not sure why anyone would want a TT setup on an inline, single ex-mani car.
As for the choice of your turbo Eric, you need to think about what you will use it for. If you're into Auto-X at all, you'll need to stay away from the huge high-lag models. You also need to consider the amount of other mods you'll be doing. because if you get a huge turbo but only have the supporting stuff to run it at 12psi then you could have gotten a smaller one to do that with and had less lag. Choose wisely :wink:

i'm not going for insane power......maybe 350 whp. it could be done on the 14b(i think...) but a small 16g would make it easier....and an evo 16g would make it even easierer!
im pretty sure it'll be a 16g because i still want good spool up.......i mean its mainly gonna be my daily driver with a few races in between......
maybe i should give kinetic a calll and see....maybe they can hook me up with something too......but i want to get the motor first!

exactly why i got a small 16G .....all i want is like a high 12 second car...i want it for strictly street use...so the small 16G is perfect for that
i love how you say only 350whp ahhah fuck..thats alotta power man....if i could go back i woulda gotten the evo instead of the mitsu small 16 though but whatev...what you gunna do when ur mom buys it anway eh :laugh:

a fp3065 is a HUGE ball bearing turbo made by forced performance...
