JULY 25th VICTORIA CRUISE & S/L MEET

So now that my car finally moves it time for a meet. hhaha

Seriously though, its been a little while, and its nice summer weather out.  We should think about a meet.  I'm thinkin what we should do is have a victoria meet.  We could all meet at goldstream park at like 11 or so and eat lunch, and then we could go for a cruise around downtown and such and then do a cruise to western and do some s/l drags.
Then if we had a place we could do some drinkin at night time or sumtin?

well really the Mt.Washington meet was north, and the parksville beach meet ended up going north to Saratoga, so we've had pretty much mostly north meets, i think its time we give back to our southern DSM'ers.

Yea that was my thoughts too dan, because all of the meets have been "north" island meets.
Plus most of the guys are from victoria as it is.  But it seems like lately we've been getting alot more from up island.

August 8th Sunday is s/l at western. There is also July 25th which is also a sunday, that is a bit sooner, but then we may have room to have another meet at the end of august to cap off the summer.

I would rather have the 25th date, but either is good.

well im in seattle on that sunday....cuz im goin to see incubus on saturday night..... so the 25th is good for me too.... plus i should have my car rebuilt by then..... might not race just cuz i gotsta break it in..... :x  but hey we'll haveta see

Yeah no doubt that sucked, especially since what got me lost was following the directions given (Schoolhouse rd.) instead of King Ed. If I hadn't gotten stuck at the lights on King Ed. and then on Mary Hill Bypass, I would have caught up right away instead of losing you guys all the damn way until Harrison. I was so mad :evil:

There's no way you can loose this Victoria boy in Victoria though

I think we need to fit in some pics out at Clover point if possible too, but I know parking out there will be an issue during the day. :?

I am down for a meet on the 25th, i'd probably come down on the 23rd visit some friends, then we should have a little party at wades on  Saturday night, ha ha sorry wade, then cruise Vic. on Sunday then S/L at western that afternoon.  What time are the S/L on Sunday??

I just went to take pics of my car at clover point on sunday.  On a sunday in the middle of the afternoon and there was plenty of room to fit like 20 cars, i dont think it will be that bad.  Plus most people that go there dont park there and then leave, usually quick stop, so if not we can just wait for a bit for people to leave.

Ok so July 25th it is, done deal this time, we always waste so much time trying to pick a date, so enough people like the date.

NEXT ISLAND DSM MEET JULY 25TH SUNDAY

So we'll meet at goldstream then cruise vic get lunch, take pics at clover point and head to western.
If anyone wants to come the day before or whatever thats cool too, but not really part of the actual meet.
