well if its a beer bringin even tit would probably be better after the racetrack.... so we could grab some grab before at a restaurant and have a bbq after... but after the races and stuff it might get pretty late for you upislanders.... unless we had a bbq the night before somewhere... make it an overnight/ drinkin meet
haha we gotta make up our minds soon tho.....and colin and dan get the rest of the upislanders to come dammit

My feeling is that most of the other up islanders are broken.   I will be back up and running as soon as I plug my data logger in. And figure out what the hell is going on. if you guys can tell me who the other up islanders are I ll try adn round em up.

I dont think any up islanders are gunna want to get hammed on a sunday night when most people work on the monday.

I think if people want to get hammered or whatever on sat night or sunday after the race thats up to them but as far as the meet goes i dont think we shoudl plan that as part of it, because its just too much stuff to try and plan and coordinate etc.  We should try and keep it more simple...as in just the sunday.

If others agree with me on this one then here is a mockup itenerary(spelling?):
SUNDAY
10:00am - meet at goldstream park on malahat (bs for awhile)
11:00am - Cruise downtown (someone can make up a better route later)
We could go somewhere and pick up some fast food, then cruise to cloverpoint for pics?
12:30pm - pics at cloverpoint and some more bs
1:30pm - leave and go to western for s/l's
2:00pm-3:00pm - tech
3:00pm-6:00pm???  - qualifyin
after 6 you can stay for eliminations and whatever or you can go home


If we meet at goldstream a half hr earlier than that gives us an extra half hr of time somewhere else

Pretty tight schedule, but tech is from 2-3 so you have to be there for that.

Jeremy you should also spam all islanders and maybe send them this itenerary .
THIS IS NEXT WEEKEND WE ONLY HAVE ONE WEEK TO GET ORGANIZED

I put up the list so that you guys can send emails to everybody too. Last time I tried I had lots of trouble emailing people with hotmail addresses. I don't know why. Maybe one of you would like to do it for me since I'm not even going to be able to come to this meet. I'm soo poor from the FVT and being best man at my buddies Wedding that I can't afford to take the day off work and spend more money I don't have. :oops:

Where are all the other island guys at on this one? only 6 people and 5 are from vic...thats not enough to have a cool meet.

I guess we can still do all that stuff with only 6 people if you guys want to, i'm goin to the western s/l's on sunday no matter what.

But 6 person meet isn't that great.  We need more up islanders to come out.

Ok well it doesn't seem like we have very many people that want to do this meet up and mostly vic guys, but we can still do it even with like 6 guys..still be cool to all cruise to western togeather and do the drags togeather.

But if there isn't much upisland interest then theres no point in the vic guys all meetin at goldstream and such.

What does everyone else want to do?

I am still coming no matter what, well unless my car breaks down..... knock on wood, so if the meeting spot isn't goldstream, let me know by at least next friday so i know where to meet you all.
Also, does western require you drain your coolant and run water/water wetter??
