oh we are hoping for 325-350 FWHP...  26-28 psi of boost??

Not sure which injector nozzle to use.. (or to use 2 of them pre-TB....).

Also not sure weather to run a injector pre-turbo as well

I have 3 nozzle sizes.

small  155cc
med 315cc
large 630cc

i was thinking the single 630cc infront of the TB and the 155cc nozzle pre-turbo?

what u guys think?

I dont think it will take that much boost to make that power.

remember its still just a stock unported 16G hotside with a fancy compresser wheel stuffed in a bored out comp. housing.  Not sure tho...

you think more like 23-24 psi of boost to make those numbers?

what is Yan putting down on his stock 6 bolt/hta68??  i guess thats AWD tho.. and this is a FWD platform.. i wonder how much it would add without the added drivetrain loss.  Should be interesting to find out.

@ 15PS I made 240 AWHP. Thats like 274fwhp.
So you will totally notice the difference with out so much drive train loss.

well i put it on the dyno but there were some issues that went unresolved.  The car was not making the power it should have.. something restricting it or something, it should be around 350whp with this setup

260 whp @24psi. with 1300cc of meth flowing at peak, could have probably pushed it harder to maybe 30 psi and made a bit more HP, but theres no point in pushing the engine harder then it should be working.

Hoping to get whatever is causing the powerloss fixed and get it tuned again.  Lowell gave me a bunch of ideas on what to look for.

The car is still a beast on the street at 24 psi.  With the stock tires it doesn't hook up till 160 km/h.  1st, 2nd,and 3rd gear are just burnout machines.  It starts hooking and putting the power to the ground in 4th gear at around 160 km+ lol.  Even rolling into it at 120 km/h in 3rd gear will bust the tires loose almost instantly.

Also picked up a set of M/T slicks and rims for the track tomorrow.  just have to get them mounted and balanced.

That doesnt sound right at all man. Thats "less" power than I made at 15PSI.

Its not drowning in fuel by chance is it? Maybe the wideband is out of calibration?

wideband is BRAND new...  also RG had its own as well that it used to tune

my a/f at WOT 24psi is around 11.4 w/ meth so the AEM wideband says.  Sounds about right to me.

I re-checked the valve timing,  going to do a boost leak check again and do a leakdown and compression.
The engine sounds healthy to me, doesn't burn hardly any oil.. and boost leaks are minor (leaks a bit from TB shaft seals and the Crushed 1G BOV also starts to leak at around 20psi a bit.

somethings that might be affecting the power as well
-BC 272 cams... does anyone have any dyno numbers on these?
-no adj. cam gears
-Intercooler piping (have stock turbo outlet pipe still and a small piece of stock rubber pipe.

Ill have it figured out asap.  it will make 325-350 whp, even if i have to swap the whole damn engine out lol

Anyways it will be at the track tonight sporting some slicks and 260 WHP.

was 24psi confirmed via the dyno's sensor as well?
So AFR was normal, Timing was fully advanced and Boost was 24psi?

not sure on the timing, i guess i could check it on my datalogger at WOT pulls...

but yes both boost gauges verified 24psi.

the a/f's were a bit rich...  when lowell tried to lean it out more the engine didn't like it and wouldn't put more power down so it had to be tuned a bit rich.

The dyno readings were also being inconsistant in the readings as one pull it would put down 20 HP for or 20HP less as well making it difficult to tune.  something with the car is definalty up... but 260 HP is still enough to have some fun.

Ill keep it updated with results from the track

could it be very conservative with timing because some sensor isn't giving it feedback or something? Is the knock sensor working and wired in properly? If you know there is no knock happening maybe ground the sensor out to make sure it isn't causing a safe mode and then do a pull ?

Just brainstorming
