2 Q's.  Did you just drill and tap the valve cover for the fitting or weld it In?
And is that a N/A thermostat. Housing

Motors looks SICK !!

The valve cover mod is a little bit more involved than that if you want it done correctly.  Lowell did my valve cover. Im pretty sure you have to remove the baffles and drill the inner portion out aswell to accommodate the -10 fitting properly.
And the Thermostat housing is a turbo one i believe.   Didnt think there were any differences between the two.

Motor looks sexy.
For the axle i'd bust out a big ass picklefork, or a picklefork on an air chisel, but I am not a mechanic.. There's probably a better way.

yea   Im going to leave the axle in seeing as its new and doesnt require replacing.   I think Ill just have to pry evenly on both sides if I ever need to replace it.

I think the engine paint turned out better than I even thought it would.   ;D

If someone did the head and trans in gold it would look ridiculous tho  haha

engine looks great!

as for the axle, there are two things that come to mind and have been succesful in the past.  OK, 3.

First, you can use a big steeply wedge shaped chisel and wedge it in between the axle cup and the transmission housing, then smack the end of the chisel with a hammer a few times.  This has rarely failed me, even on old mid 90s Mazda trannies that are no, no, notoriously shitty for this.

Secondly, you can take out the other axle and run a strong punch/drift thru the tranny and smack the other end of the offensive axle.  This works well too.

or, like I had to do on one of Markes axles once, I had to weld a plate onto his inner axle cup(no boot, no goodies, cleaned of grease), and slide hammer it out.  Fuckin thing...  I had to re weld it several times, as it kept breaking out the metal around the welds on the cup.

The big chisel/wedge works very well tho.  In this case, Wedge, you are doing some good back there.

Cool thanks.  I really hope I never have to resort to that last option haha.
Ill giver a whirl tomorrow maybe. If I cant get it out with any technique, I may resort to wrestling moves. Like DDT..  or a Suplex..

Yup.  Its the mighty max.

You can use an oil filter sandwich on the mighty max to allow for 2) -10 ports for an oil cooler    :)
