Evo I Update
« on: January 26, 2013, 10:33:19 pm »
Hey Guys
Just an up date on the Evo

I moved to Kelowna for school and in august i got T-boned (low speed/impact)

I was no impressed especially after the fact that my dad and I had spent all summer rebuilding it
However thanks to ICBC i didn't pay a dime and they didn't write her off
So I brought it to Mertin body shop and got her fixed
I dropped a little extra to paint the whole car

Shaved the antenna and the aftermarket added lights

The passenger rear door had apparently been fixed before (poorly) so it had some work done

Cleaned up some edges

getting stripped down

Rear Panel pulled back out

Rears spats molded into the bumper

Painted doors, hood, trunk lid

We decided on painting it EVO Wicked White

Dads custom speaker grills
Impressive eh?

Wheel is back on
accident ruined the tire, not even 2000k before i was hit

And the window is back in

Yeah I was terrified when I went into ICBC. They said they fix it no problem because it wasn't my fault and the car is in such great condition.
They ended up ordering two doors from Japan

I hoping that the club is going to have a meet soon
I'd really love to show the car off after all the work we've done
The cars still in Chilliwack and will be all summer

They did a good job that is for sure

My dads just putting everything back together now
I have reading break in two weeks so I get to see it then and help finish putting her back together
