My dsm runs fine it was my daily all winter. I want a new transmission because like a lot of dsm's it grinds going into second and I want a rebuild because my cars 23 years old so it has less than perfect compression. The car I'm looking for help on is my friends and its not big on his priority list till the fall. When my dsm stops working I fix it right away the rebuilds are just on my "wouldn't it be nice" list.

LoL
Yup, I'm always in need of a mechanic, cause I drive cars harder than they can handle.
I generally need a pit crew.

This is why I passed up the opportunity to get myself an RX7 a while back.
Mechanics are fewer and further between for Rotary, and typically charge more.

But if you know what you're doing, that car can be amazing!!
Congrads on the purchase man.

Hehe ya I tend to drive a little harder than I should, but it has a fresh motor in it with low boost its 300ish hp on 8psi so as long as I let it warm up before I drive it I hope it'll last a long time. Plus if I was ever going to swap a new non rotary motor in it would be a 4g63 obviously.
