White 89 Colt GT
« on: September 09, 2013, 02:19:23 am »
Well i need to make a "post" for this car and its build.  I will add more info soon on the mods, or lack there of ahaha

Car is my DD and currently is in "MPG" mode ahah.   fuel is 87 octane and boost only at 10psi.  A/F ratios have been set at 16.5ish for idle and cruise to try for better MPG.  Timing advances have been increased in the idle and cruise areas to compensate for the leaner AF ratio as well.  Originally the car averaged a consistant 400 km's per tank (40 liters fillup) (on the stock Colt GT tune).  Now after leaning the tune out (which was very rich in boost, (9's A/F's)) the car gets a average of 500 km's per tank (city) and i have gotten 610 km's on a highway trip to a tank.

This car is all numbers matching still, I have ALL the original parts still, and hopefully after a good restoration and cleaning up I will be able to sling some collector plates on her in the next year or two, hahaha. People will laugh at me, but oh well.

MODS:
-15" OZ route rally rims
-K&N filter
-Home made ball/spring MBC
-Stock 425 000 km Drivetrain (4g61t w/ 11b turbo)
-Custom water to air intercooler (maki made)
-Autometer boost and AEM wideband
-Socketed stock Eprom ECU w/ ostrich running Tunerpro MAF based tune for 87 octane and 10psi.

aem wideband & 20 psi boost gauge

socketed eprom w/ ostrich running tunerpro RT w. MAF

recently washed and detailed.......ahahha

Future mods

-Replace badly worn clutch w/ turbo dsm unit (need FWD turbo flywheel)
-Install solid engine mounts
-Replace old tired worn out struts
-13g, 14b, or 16g turbo (not sure yet)
-Bigger injectors
-Meth???
-exhuast and better intake
