Great choice for a first car. Take care of it hopefully we will not see a post in the next few months saying this

"Help out a damaged eclipse... need a good bodyshop"

It wasn;t a few months, it was 8 months. Could have happened to anyone, espically in an eclipse RS since they(at least mine) stops like shit and the power steering only works when you are in gear, not in Neutral. Not to mention it was a highway, and someone stopped to turn without singnalling.

that's crap, you can't not have power steering just cause you're in neutral, besides, how often you cruise on the highway in neutral? the ps pump is pumping any time the engine is running, it's not connected to a belt after the clutch that only spins when in gear...

If you rear ended somebody you were following too close or not paying attention to the road, one or the other or both, end of story.  Suck it up princess, don't blame it on the equipment.

 :agreed:
If it really is the problem with the car, shouldn't you take care of it first before driving it?  You are endangering everyone on the road and the worst part is that you KNOW you are doing it but yet takes no action.

Every dealership that sells Eclipses here are quite shady due to a few testimonials I have heard. The conditions are much worst, double my mileage, and they are asking 3-4 gs more.  I got fed up and found one in Bellevue dealership.  I was a bit nervous about buying a car from outside of the country but it turned out pretty well.  This dealership sells Ferrari and Bentley so I'm sure they have a reputaion to take care of.  I was confident that the car I'm getting will run great. I can't give you an excat price that I bought it for but it was between 10-15s cad with import and taxes included. Importing the car went well since i asked so many questions about the process.  So far I'm pretty damn happy and nothing has gone wrong.  ** knock on wood**

I will definitely take car of this car.  Always take it to the sheduled maintenance so I can have this beautiful ride as long as possible.

Hey Ricky,

Nice buy!  Glad things have worked out so far.  I guess the speedo's in miles, eh?  Be careful you don't get caught speeding. ;)  What mods have you got planned?  Or still too early to think about that yet?   heheh.
