I was thinking the same, iv never been there... I noe where it is...I just thot it was going to be at the entrance kinda.. like out on the road?? well im sure cam will fill us in

Guys,
Elk lake has two parking lots. When you come off the highway at the Sayward lights, you'll follow the road around the first corner and past a couple stores. You'll take the only right on Brookleigh and directly to your left there will be a large paved lot. If you get more than a minute off the highway and aren't seeing it, turn around.

The other lot is a gravel strip that follows the shore.

If I get time I might try to meet up with you guys at the Elk Lake area. Im on the island for the week visiting my GF. Unfortunately, like I said before,I had to leave my dsm back on the mainland as the roll cage is half installed. So the interior is still sitting on my shop floor.

Though,I saw a black 1gb last night on Arbutus. Looked lowered, exhaust, with a turn signal out. I waived but was just being a bum walking.  I also saw an Eagle summit the other day with a kit on it. Not too many of those around.

overall we had 6 guys, met at noon, called it a day around 315, included a drive, tim hortons stop, lagoon photo op, then that was it...first meet in a long time on the island lets do it again in a month or so..
