*HELP* Head Gasket Swap for pay
« on: March 08, 2013, 10:39:04 am »
I bought a new head gasket, and need someone to install it ASAP.
I am selling my other car on the 15th, so I would love it if this could get done before then.

I have Gasket, Head Studs, and I also want to do Cams and Injectors while its all apart.
I also have a new timing belt kit. And a friend who will plane the head at his shop.
I just need someone who can do this work before the 15th.
I have been told it is about a 12 hour job for all of the stuff.
And I am willing to spread it out over 2 days.
I can pay up to $400 for someones time and knowledge.

The car is still driveable so I can get it to wherever it needs to be done.
But I need it done in the next week.

Text me for fastest response.
Thanks,

Car now has 113,xxx KM on it.

do you have something to tune with? afc/link/aem ems etc?

will need that to control larger injectors.

Hey Bret, Thanks for the offer, but Phil is doing it . . . (forgot last name)
however he looked at the injectors, and they are a bit big for no tuning for a while, so he is leaving those out until I decide to tune.

At which point I will be needing more help.
I am not mechanically inclined . . . at all, just a kid who likes to go fast.
:)

I plan on doing a bigger turbo, and when I do that, injectors will go in, and full tune.
Would love to do this before the RG dyno day . . . but funds are a bit tight right now, so may not happen.
LoL

If a deal falls into my lap, I'll work with the banks to make it happen though.
;)

I'd say go with ecmlink v3 for your model/year dsm.

ECMLink or their Lite version.

Hindsight being 20/20, I should have done this in the first place.
Objects in mirrors appear to be losing.

its well worth it to get a good tune on a dyno, doesn't cost much and will save you in the long run.

i have ecmlink v3full and RG tunes for me :)
