i assume you checked if it was a water pump issue? maybe a leak you cant see?

so heres what ive done so far..

-removed the thermostate
-changed the radiator cap
-checked all hoses & clamps
-waterpump replaced last year. less than 8000 kms ago.

the problem is the car doesnt overheat.. it drives fine.. i drive from surrey to vancouver everyday. when i take a trip from surrey to vancouver as soon i shut off the car and leave for about 10 mins.. there would be a puddle under my car. I know its boiling over out of the radiator bottle but why???

every trip i would have to refill the coolent. when i open the radiator cap no water. i would have to pour about 1.5liters of coolent in it.

Hey there Zack, mine was doing the same thing, boiling over into the coolant overflow bottle.  I rebuilt the head and replaced the head gasket.

Solved my problems.  If you're up for rebuilding your head take it to Heads Unlimited in Surrey.  I got mine rebuilt for $250 plus taxes.

Tried idle for awhile before shutting car off? and checking if puddle occurs? datalog water temp and knock.  My friend's had an awkward heat problem in #1cylinder cuz it was detonating and after engine shut off, the localized heat in the head boiled the coolant.  Just a free check.

Will be getting my head rebuilt with a new cometic head gasket in the next week or two.

When you got your head rebuilt what exactly was done?
I would like to get mine rebuilt allong with some BC cams, springs, and retainers.

if its a blown headgastket is it gonna be costly?? i just did a complete rebuilt on my car about 20000kms ago.. damn anyone know how much it would cost to get this done?? where can i take it??

i know my turbo is blown.. would this effect anything??

I would say yes, your turbo has been toast for like a year man. Your car is too sweet to be running poorly, FIX IT!!!
