How are you boosting at 15psi without a boost controller?  After 15psi is when things start to get expensive.  You'll need to look into proper fuel management.

Remember, there is no exact # of pounds that you can run.  To know for sure, you have to have a logger (2G guys watch timing and knock I believe)

13~15 PSi sounds right for a 2G, I think...the 2G engines were not quite as efficient with boost as ours (the 1Gs) were, although I envy the 6-bolts among us.  I think stock is around 14 PSI, so small spikes here and there are to be expected, right?

without upgrading your fuel pump, and turbo don't go any higher.  I don't own a 2g, but I've heard alot of 2g guys talk about this at other forums.

The turbo itself is just pushing hot air at pressures over that.  It was designed to spool quickly but it doesn't have the potential of a larger turbo.

It is pretty cheap to put on a used 14b tho.

Stock 2G runs 14.5 psi stock, usually after a few years the maximum boost will drop due to BOV leak.

If you add a boost controller to that stock T25 you can only crank up boost before 5K rpm.  After that the turbo runs out of breath and the boost falls back to stock/near stock at redline.

If you only look when it's at redline, maybe it just creeps up to 15 since you got an exhaust?  Usually the boost drops back to about 12-13 after 5000rpm.
