Well, do you have a bigger exhaust and suffer from boost creep? If not, you don't *really* need it.

When it opens, it makes a loud noise (essentially, exhaust gasses can bypass your exhaust, so it's like running no exhaust). It only opens at full boost though, so it's not a constant noise.  Some people like the sound, some people don't.

Not worth it.  I'd say save your pennies and get a down pipe made.  Can be done pretty cheap to.  After that, you might start seeing creep and you'll need a wastegate

no you don't need it, it will make a nasty sound. do you remember that noise mine made after import showoff? thats the noise. I love it.  It doesnt HAVE to make that noise, but it would be quite pricey for the labour to install this thing.

There's absolutely NO need for an external wastegate on the teeny T25.  It'll be more money to get a flange welded on the manifold etc, then you have to weld your wastegate hole shut.  And it really won't do much at all for you performance wise.  If you plan on going big later on, eg 20g and up, then by all means.  How much does he want for it anyway?

It's pretty hard to get a T25 to creep...:)  Save your money and spend it on a bigger turbo instead.
