yea ya can't just floor these things in the lower rpm range. It builds knock and once that starts it takes a thousand or so rpm for it to dissipate. And when its knockin, timing is being pulled. Pulled timing make for loagy, soggy performance.
so just find the throttle position that for you makes the best roll-in point.
Once you have 3000rpm or so, you can mat it.
