strange idle

i was driving my car and when i put in the clutch and rolled to a stop sign the idle was fluctuating from 1500 to 1000 rpm but as soon as i stopped rolling the car would idle fine. i tried this a few times to see if it was a one time thing but it keeps doing it. i have no idea what it could be from aside from the weather being -25 C and the pcm is trying to compensate for somthing. any sugestions :?:  :?: 92 nt talon

Check the resistance of the coolant temp sensor.
