tsi can be either FWD or AWD ... so if the TSi is a FWD then yes it should work

From my understanding 2g TSI's are only AWD.

Nope, 2g Talons came in tsi trims (fwd) and tsi awd trims.

As long as it's not an awd tranny I can't see why it wouldn't work.

Hmm, I have never seen a fwd turbo 2g talon forsale.

Or maybe it's because I have overlooked the fwd's :P

I'll convert it sooner or later, when I can actually throw a couple grand at it and not miss it.
But for now, not really high on my priority list of "things to do".

meh, as a daily driver in traffic an auto with awd and turbo aint too shabby.  As my only car?  No, but as a second car or daily driver fo sho my ho!

Do a few minor mods, hold the brake with one foot, hit the gas with the other, wait for the lights to change and lift the brake foot.  Hold right foot floored for 11-13 seconds.  Simple.

never do a clutch, clutch fork, throwout bearing, clutch master, clutch slave, clutch line.  never miss a shift, never have to worry about bogging a launch, never have a heavy duty puck style clutch kill your tranny or axles.  NEVER have crankwalk.
