dsm engine rebuild

hey supposedly my dsm's got a cracked block, so ive bought another block, the engine only has like 50 k on it since its been rebuilt so i was wondering if anyones down to swap the guts from my block and put it into the next one, so pretty much rebuild my engine. if your down message me a price and if you know anyone who'd do it for a decent price

Never seen a DSM block crack,,, they are almost industrucable!  Chances are the problem lies elseware.  Unless you put a rod/crank through the side of it.

Ive seen DSM blocks crack.

Hairline, but a crack is a crack!

I cracked one, one winter with water.  It was toast and needed a rebuild anyway though.

if the new engine has less than 50k on it, why do anything?  Just pull the damaged one and drop in the newer one.

While its out, maybe double check the timing belt, external gaskets, etc, but why change anything over?  Unless you have custom pistons, rods etc in the old one.
