Hotsync problem

Not sure if anyone will know but I got a palm 3xe and I can't for the life f me get it to hotsync to my computer

Hook the palm up to your OBD port and open mmcd. Should open up and you can log away. What did you do to fix the hot sync issue?? I have a palm that I have never been able to get synced up.

i disabled com1 then  unchecked local restarted comp gave it a few minutes after boot up then re-enabled com1 and checked local on the hotsync manager and it worked:)
