Has anyone ever raced one of these things? I've seen more and more in Vic. Wonder how quick they are?

In a straight line, that is.

On a road course, they're an extremely well sorted car (Especially the newer NSX-R). Keeps up with Gallardos and 360 Modenas.
Objects in mirrors appear to be losing.

They kinda look cool in a late 80's early 90's look, but how much cash do you have to put out 40K? 60K? When my car comes back on the road I'd like to drag one of those beasts

yep, most turbo cars on this forum will stay with or beat them in a straight line.  Only a few will stay with or beat them on a road course or autox tho.

Then, they wear out tires in like 1 year due to thier really aggressive alignment specs so its up to you how you want to spend your money.

Pretty cool cars tho, all in all.  Parts are grossly priced however.

not sure of the specs, but I remember reading a review of them when they were new, way back when, in Car and Driver I believe.  One of the mags I trust, not some crappy one.  They had one on a long term test and the tires were shot in less than 1 year.  The toe is too much with the camber settings and combined with soft tires, they just don't last.  They said that they figured dudes that can buy them wouldn't care, but the rest of us would have to take some toe out of it.  Apparently its setup so that the toe takes any play or slop out of the suspension when its driving so that the response is instantaneous.
