Respect the Honda's boys.  Just like our DSM's there are super fast honda's out there.  I have several friends with turbo B series and they would rip most of the guys DSM's on this board new assholes.

i'm not saying 100% of hondas are garbage. just almost all of them. but it's not the name brand itself i rip on it's the people who drive them really. they put a $20 fart can on it and they all of a sudden have the super uber race car ever. it's just sad that they rip the shit out of these things and race anything that pulls up beside them. and they think they're sooooo cool driving around at 6000rpm so everyone on that block and the block next to it can hear that god-awful fart can that sounds like a sewing machine. ugh

i really dislike honda cars, always have, there just annoying, if you've spent the money in the right places and the car is fast and looks half decent, then fine but 90% of them dont do it like that its all about the image, and then theres the guys that put so much money into there cars that there usless for anything other then going in a straight line at the track
silly honda's, street lamps are for seeing, not hugging!

If you were to ask me to buy a car which was cheap on gas and super reliable, i'd be buying a civic.

If you like to Auto-X a 90 hatch back with Koni Yellows, Eibach Sportlines, Koni Strutt Bars and Integra brakes is always fun :)

I used to hate Honda's too, but then my wife got one. I got's to say...it does way better on gas than my car does. It's not lowered or anything, it's an 03 Civic Si, and has 20's on it, a dvd player, and a gps. Tinted too. It's actually a really nice car to drive. You can just get in and go.

Mine on the other hand, is a pain in the ass to take anywhere...have to worry about bottoming out, pot holes, shit like that. But I still love it to death. Even if someone offered me a brand new say...350z. I'd still choose my car over it just because I love it that much. Our cars are our cars...and that's it.

So really it depends on what you are using it for. Mine is good for ripping around, car shows...dumping money into. And hers is still stylish, and economical.

wow so many honda haters, unfortunately those cars can't choose their drivers. i used to have that "i hate civic" mentality...now i own one, they're really not that bad as what ppl say they are. hell i'm even considering doing a turbo b18b. like Brett said, there are civics/AWD CRX out there that will keep up with DSMs. on that note, i'd still pick a DSM.
and a t25 will say, in a wee girlie voice "I am too small, please put me on a D16"

Screw just "keeping up" with DSM's.  Alot of Honda's will kick the shit out of a modified DSM.
