There was a 4dr F150 2wd that was super quick for what it was also.
My wife liked the beetle and the two s-trucks that would pull the tires up :)

damn stout for sure.  Put some slicks on it and it will be a legit 11 second car.

Is it a real street car or?

Pump gas or race?  N2O?

He had some issues at the start line... broke a driver side axle.

this is his daily driver.  it's a 16g car, no meth, no n20, pump gas car.  with only 12psi he's going low 12's and trapping his best of 114mph.  not too shabby if you ask me.  to top that off, he's only into the car for approx. $3000 including the car.

hows he get that kinda power out of it on a stock Festiva engine?  Or is it a matter of having no weight?

So the whole point of this was to run in the Ford Mega weekend and beat out some Mustangs. Bron Palko (owner of Fastiva) found out that there are a bunch of classes which went, 0-2 power adders 2-4 power adders 4-6 and so on. Power adders are considered the following v6 engine is 1 power adder, v8 is 2 power adders, turbo 1, slicks 1, supercharger 1 and a bunch of others on the list. The Festiva being a 4 cyl is considered 0 power adders so he is able to put on a turbo and slicks and still be in the 1-2 class. A mustang with any kinda power isn't going to run a good time without slicks.

Saturday morning we brought the festiva down for some shake down passes and it ran as low as 12.6 @ 110 where all his competition was running 13's. Next morning, race day half the cars didn't show up because they didn't want to get beat by such an odd ball car. In the end Bron got 2nd place because he blew the transmission on the final race. :(

BTW prize money for first would have paid for the car and all the mods. LOL

That's pretty badass.

Seems a bit odd that there was a ford only competition that had prize money involved but he had a Mazda engine swapped in. (Yes, I'm aware of the overlap between the companies and products.) surprised that was reg. legal

They're like expensive pokemon... gotta catch 'em all.
