mission raceway 2011
« on: May 14, 2011, 11:51:41 am »
Well I was there last night and there was not a dsm to be found :(

Sorta depressing ahaha

There were more turbo 2.5 chryslers there then dsm's!! What the hell

(Turbo 87 new yorker with balla wire hubcaps and even the old school spare tire still mounted haha. And a sweet flat black omni with a 2.2/2.5 turbo swap.

The only mitsubishi was a cool looking evo 7-9 that was running consistant mid 13's.

Brett what did you think about the 2 Porsches.

The Silver one was supposed to be the fastest in the West Coast......but that black one definitely had other ideas

And wiped the track with the Silver one.

Good side by side racing

Where were those porches running?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi
Then google.
Then read old postings about it.
Then ask.

consistant 11's.... maybe 10's??  im sure one of them hit 10's as they were just hauling ass.

Force feds supra did a 8.80 run...  quite impressive... as well as a old 50's tubbed truck doing a wheel stand off the line doing 8.6 or something...

There was also a FD RX7 that ran in the 10's a couple times in a row..  i think i seen it last year running 12's and 11's but this year it seems to be hooking up a lot better.

I might be there this friday or the next (depending on weather) but not in a dsm unfortunately. I've left the dsm world. Onto the V8's now.

Just bought a 92 5L notch with bolt ons. Hoping for a high 13. Depends if I get slicks on there in time. :)
