finally the blue 1g fwd got a 14.8 with a slipping a clutch ;D ;D ;D

Good job!! The best I did was 14.0. These stangs def need slicks. Way too much torque to be running shitty worn street tires!! Next time out ill be running slicks with new motor and tranny mount, which are worn. Im hoping for a 13.5 next time out. Thd car feels fast on the street. I need heads though, she runs out of steam in the higher rpms.

What did you trap?
on my 14.8 run i trap 94 mph and i think Ivan went 101 mph on his 14.0 run

I trapped 99.7 mph but i did 103 mph on a couple of runs so the car definately has a 13 in her.

where did you go ivan?? i was waiting for you for your rematch!! Did they kick you out for running in two classes?

The champagne ran pretty good all night..  pretty consitant at mid 14's... best of the night being a 14.3 @97MPH i think. did 10 runs in the whole night and the car ran great besides having to granny shift it into 2nd gear and feather the throttle around 60% in 3rd and 4th gear to keep the boost down.  It was creeping up to 20-22 psi and hitting 105% idc.  :O  i had my boost controller set around 15 psi but theres nothing i can do besides control the boost with the throttle.  It was keeping me from getting a good top end pull trying not to hit fuel cut...  I set my timing to around 3 deg BTDC to take care of a bit of knock...   The car was launching pretyy good too, i was really happy with the CF, DF clutch...and i was able to pull pretty consistant 1.8 60' foots.  theres definalty some more in her tho if i can take care of the boost creep or just tune for it, and get the tranny shifting a bit better into 2nd gear.

Might possibly buy a meth kit and a some bigger injectors and a different MAS and go back at 'er next week maybe.

I thought you're not going to spend anymore money on this as you're selling it.

So the clutch on my 1g seems to hold fine. Did some launching and its not slipping. It's weird. I'll probably be there next week again and try to hit some low 14's. Maybe i'll try that "Brett Haviland" MOD too then hopefully it will land me on low 14's. ;D ;D ;D

Well i have a 2G MAS laying around...  i have a 3" GM MAF and MAFT laying around along with some evo yellowtop 510cc injectors, which might be a bit small for the 2G mas...  Probably just spend a few bucks on some 550cc's if i have to spend anything

And the meth kit... well i want to get one anyways for my purple colt... so i could install it in the champagne "temperarily" and then take it out once it sells.
