so i raced this weekend at ashcroft, only two dsm's raced there, mine and some chick in a 19 sec N/T
anyways.. only pulled off a 14.4 @ 95mph because my boost controller took a shit on me, it would either be 9psi, or 23psi,, nothing in between
so, thanks to cole's laptop i logged it for a few runs, and my 14.4 run, i had 29 counts of knock in 3rd gear, 4th gear had 22, this was on a c16/c12 mix @ 23psi, i put my stock bcs back in after seeing those numbers.. and ran low 15's
far far too high of boost, and i know being that high just slowed me down, especially with all that knock, it had my timing down to 5deg advanced!
so next time i'll definitely have a new boost controller, run alot less boost, i'm guessing around 16 would be optimal with race gas again
