carbotech panther xp8 pads

I put panther xp8 front pads on last wk, and they are very streetable (Larry at carbotech said their website doesn’t say so since they’re dusty and may squeal).
• Lots of black dust but I don’t care nor have expensive rims
• Even when cold, bite seems better than my prior Porterfield r4s (not a race pad)
• Very quick to lock up brakes (my ABS seems to allow a bit of lockup)
• Occasional squealing; not bad
• No prongs to warn of low pad, so I’ll need to keep an eye on them

Real test for these race pads is scheduled for bc day 8/1 at pacific raceways =).
