Ive spoke to a member that had no problems with his. Infact I own it now..    its not even that worn   lol.

well considering both the pressure plate and disk show very little wear, ide say it is.  They were both previously ran in a car making roughly 300 awhp for a short while. (km unknown)  but I know it was ran for a while.   

Just based on everything ive read and everyone Ive spoke to, ide suggest going with a 2100 pressure plate and 6 puck sprung disk. I know ACT offers both components. Fidanza should be relatively similar.

I dunno if 2100 pressure plate will hold up on a repeated launches with a 500+ hp car. ;D I think 2100 are rated up to around 400hp.

Im pretty sure Yan ran one with around 450+ hp. The clamping force of my 2600 pp most likely is the reason my act street disk blew up.  I wasnt "that" hard on the clutch.

I've been running ACT 2600 for about 3- 4 years now, I've always used street disc and never had a problem. ACT is over priced and thats the reason I'm asking about Fidanza.

I am impressed that the street disk is working well for you. I found the street disk a bit sensitive to overheating when slipping the clutch to prevent hard launching.

I just got the sprung 6 puck act 2600 and it isn't bad during engagement, tricky, but not bad. I figured it was a better fit for the 500 mark. 

I wouldn't mind a more cost effective choice too though!

price may not always be the first deciding factor when you need it to hold the power !  :o

if you were happy with your current ACT setup but its showing signs of wear after yrs of abuse, go with the same setup. Or add a 6puck for more intitial bite.     ???

if youre after a better performing clutch that will hold repeated 500+whp launches and easy on the foot ... one word ... TWIN DISC!  not cheap (cough - $1000-1500) but as you probably already know, its VERY effective!

dsmtuners have any more feed back on fidanza or other clutches if a twin disc is not in the budget?

foot strenght is not a problem,  :D. I just want to know how fidanza clucthes work and reviews. the fact that they have same specs with ACT and they are half the price.

When I used to have my talon, I went through 2 fidanza clutches before I finally bought an act 2600 with a street disc. The first fidanza clutch was their 4 puck kevlar. It seemed all well and good until one day when it started to act up and not disengage. It just so happens I was over 100km away from home and on the way home it exploded, cracking my transmission in a few places. Fidanza then sent me a 6 puck ceramic as a warranty replacement plus a set of there HD axles for all of the trouble caused by the first clutch. The axles might have lasted 3000km before snapping like tooth picks right at the hub. I ended up pulling the trans about 5000km after installing the 6 puck and noticed that all of the spring were very loose and very close to falling out. Needless to say, I will never own another fidanza product.

I have also heard several instances where the fidanza stuff just plain falls apart.

I would go with ACT over fidanza... You pay for what you get....

Fidanza flywheel and cam gears are excellent.

i have learnt over the years that you can get away with some sub par parts in other areas with no ill effects. clutches is not one of them. you definitely get what you pay for.

i have seen there aluminum flywheels have some serious issues with the ring gear coming apart from the aluminum flywheel.
