Dejon tool UICP Compressor outlet and Turbo inlet
« on: January 25, 2004, 05:55:52 pm »
Well, it took me a while after  my shopping trip to Lowells to get it all installed, but I did get it finish today.

Here are the parts:
2.25 inch UICP

2.75 inch straight intake pipe

1.75 inch compressor outlet pipe

(I have not ported the turbo yet for the above part)

At the same time, I had to remove the aircan entirely, so while I had it all apart I cleaned my K&N and removed the lower honeycomb. The silencer was already removed.

Installation went well. It took me a while to figure out the reducer and connector to the turbo, but once I got that done, no probs.

Fit and finish of the parts was good, and everything was included in each of the products baggies.

Performance. Obvious improvement in airflow. Launches from 4g's was much more intense, and you could really feel extra pull on the hwy. (much more airflow) These parts are on all the upgrade paths and theres good reason for that!

Out of the performance catagory is that the turbo is MUCH LOUDER! Very cool.

I would recomend these parts and in particular, the Dejon Tools parts as tested.
