I've been so out of it the past week with school, I totally forgot all about the meet, I wouldn't have even known about it if I didn't run into wade last night at the casino.

Bad news is , I lost all my money last night so I got no money to go.  I lost 30 earlier in the day, so I went back at night to try and win it back , lost another 100.....so down 130 now.

Gotta go back this afternoon to win it back.  Time to take out a loan.

Well, the go-karts were closed due to the rain but lunch was good. Went for a short cruise out to Cowichan Bay. Only a few hardcores turned out in the weather but it was still great to meet and talk cars after such a long winter. Now it's time to dream up a new list of mods for spring. :P

well i just got back from the casino, i lost 120 yesturday
and I just won 100 this afternoon

I also won 105 on friday night......so all in all up 85 for the weekend.

Not bad I guess.  I'm starting to develope a problem hahhaa.  That's good that the meet turned out, hopefully better representation in the summer time.

Hey wade, Is your plate number 984 cgr, my buddy was down at his g/f's and saw your car I think, he followed you from shawnigan in his g/f's POS green saturn, I couldn't make it cuz I'm broke and saving all my money for the AWD shell I'm buying on tuesday (and I was in comox at my g/f's) But yeh, he was stoked to see someone reppin the BCDSM sticker so he followed you and snapped a pic at the lights by 711, nice 2g as well I might say.
I'm guessin it was your car from the pic you posted above.

ANYWAYS, I'm bloody excited for the 1g AWD talon shell im buyin off mark on tuesday (Graeme Shaw's old car) I'm selling my car stereo and water bed for it, but I've been dreamin of the AWD project car for along time, and I just rebuilt the head in the laser, so it will be a good donor engine.

Anyways, I'm done ranting, lol  :D wish I could have been there, I will next time and I'm STOKED for the camping meet(s).

actually the black 2g ur bud saw was Chris spencers...but i was in it with him seeing as my car is currently off the road getting just a few "minor" upgrades :wink:

Ok, WHAT has been done to your laser body wise, that is the nicest looking laser I have ever seen.....That might also be cause It's a 1gb, but that is very nice.

It was good meet, even tho the weather was not so good to us.
Jeremy, Chris and Andrew nice meeting you guys and Wade good to see you again man.

HAHAHAHA very nice, I wish I could have been there dammit.

And it has come to my attention that the body on wade's car is a stock option for the laser's, I never knew that, but must say that is very nice.

Oh by the way, does anyone know off hand, or care to be very nice and check what size wrench I'd need to pull the rear axle's out of an AWD, 1ga...I need to know for when I tow the talon on the car dolley on tuesday.

yes its all factory stuff on the laser but of course the bumper was meshed and it is an aftermarket paint job (not a factory colour)

but i agree with you wayne its the nicest looking laser i've ever seen :D
