yes they do a great job, but for basic stuff like this, they are expensive.

There is a shop in Abbotsford that the place I work at sends all our heads and manifolds etc, and they are cheaper and for regular stuff like this, they do a great job.  Where do you live?

yes, just drop it off at the shop of your choice and they will do what needs doing.

I would suggest against porting, unless you take it to a known experienced head porter, and one that does modern 16v engines.

Besides, the stock head is good for many times the power you will be making with the atmosphere as your turbocharger.  Huge waste of money in my opinion.

oh, if you have the head off, drop it off at the shop, clean up the block, get your head gasket and new head bolts and when the head comes back, toss it on, drain the oil, fill the oil and coolant and providing its all good, its ready to drive away  :)  Not spring time, maybe 2 weeks tops.

hrrmmm...  this will be a good learning experience.

Practice on the slow Non Turbo 4g63

Then you will know how to work on the !!!TURBO!!! 4g63 thats your going to swap in this spring.

Its a easy swap!  Just find a complete 4g63t from a talon with ECU and wiring harness. You might need one mount for the front?  i cant remember.  you can destroy your n/a tranny, or you can swap in the FWD turbo tranny.  The Turbo tranny will be the best choice as the n/a tranny is like my colt tranny.  I have blown 5 trannys in 3 years in 25 000 km's.  I am just now going to the turbo tranny.

GO turbo man... ill give you a block to start building for free,
I like Colts.  Turbo Colts.

hey i got a question...my tranny where the tranny side axel comes in how can i tell if its warped or not like the tranny itself not the axel because i think its leaking out of it i have put a new seal in twice i think but it still does but i have a spare tranny here and was wondering if you can tell me how to check it?
