This is a test of the DNP header vs Kinetic cast manifold.  No real surprise the header outperforms a manifold with the wastegate mounted on a single runner.  Even when the cast manifold catches up in boost pressure, there's still around 15 ft/lbs more torque with the header, and if I had exactly the same boost pressure on both pulls, I think it would make around 425whp.

just a side note on this car, its damn fast.  Once the turbo kicks in, it scoots!!  I never took it over 5500-6000 or went much over about 75-80% throttle as I was just getting a feel for the turbos spool charactaristics, but climbing a hill in second, when the turbo hit, the thing got all squirrelly on clean dry warm pavement, with aftermarket rubber and a passenger.

I finally ditched the stock O2 housing this morning and was rewarded with an extra 18whp from a 2.5" SS unit.  Optimizing the air intake to the turbo inlet made a final pull of 449whp and 404 ft/lbs.  I'll post up the comparison graph tomorrow.

The 50 trim doesn't spool till over 4000 RPM it looks like.  The evo 16g's spool much earlier dont they?  Im looking for a upgraded turbo thats a DSM bolt on but im i dont want to sacrafice too much lag as it would end up hurting in a tight autocross course.

You will probably be faster on an autocross course with the Evo 16g.  If that is not enough power for you, the next turbo I would consider is the FP 18G.
