A while back I got one of those strut bars L&R was selling real cheap. The other day while dealing with my battery problem I noticed that the support bracket on the drivers side has bent upwards from stress. Now my first thought was to take it off and bend it back but if it bent in the first place then it's not working as well as it could and will undoubtedly bend again.
I thought of making it more rigid by welding another plate to it. I also thought of running a support hanger from the inside edge of it to a spot lower on the inner fender. Do you think either of these ideas are worth trying? Do you have any other suggestions?
