A question on the Sigma family of engines

Does anyone know if the Sigma architecture was passed on on any other engines aside from the 63 and 64?  I'm wondering because some of the new Lancers (the Ralliart/sportback models) have 4G69s under the hood.  It's a MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Electronic Control--I swear they have a department just to think of snappy names for this shit) engine, and I'm wondering how boostable those things are (work matters) or if they share anything at all as far as heritage goes with our good ol' 63s
