lower timing belt cover gaskets (2G)

Do I need them?  or not?
Just got my timing belt done, the old gaskets were fubar.

Lowell didn't have any gaskets so the covers went back on without.

Should I bother getting some?

I know the waterpump and crankshaft pulleys need to come off to get the covers off. :(
