My car is dead.
I am by FAR not a mechanic, but I'm pretty sure I seized the motor last night.

Now the great debate is rebuild, or pull parts and scrap it . . .
I love this car, AWD Turbo is soo much fun. But damn it has been a costly adventure.

Other talon is 95% done the tranny swap, but with not knowing what I am doing, I have been relying on friends to come over.

I need to swap the Clutch Slave, and bleed the lines ASAP in the FWD NA Talon, and have no idea how to.
Anyone want to come help (by which I mean do it) on Sunday? And likes getting paid in beer?

Well  first,  what makes you think you seized it?   have you tried rotating the engine by hand, with the transmission in neutral?

Jordan, I don't know . . . just a guess.
I've had a pretty bad oil leak for a while, and I was regularly topping up, but could have gone dry a bit.
When I attempted to start it (turn key) I could head the starter attempt to engage, but could not hear the pistons moving (as it would if it were out of gas) When I lost power on the freeway, and had it in neutral, I tried to pop the clutch to revive the car, and it didn't do anything, just bogged down.

So the sooner the better, just text me when you're free, and we'll try to make it work.
I will be busy tonight, and Thursday, but there is a possibility for Tuesday or Wednesday evening if that works.
