FVT 2015 (Part Deux) - September 16
« on: July 31, 2015, 11:30:48 am »
There was some banter about the possibility of a second FVT this year.

What are your thoughts for a tour in September?  On a Sunday?

Weigh in Folks!

**** UPDATE  15 Sept ****
FVT type of cruise mid-week, on 16 September. This is mostly for those that either got lost at the July FVT or their DSMs weren't ready or their DSM was missing at the time. But all members are invited!
We'll follow the FVT route to the letter except at the start ... BCIT parking lot, which will be stuffed with students. We'll meet at the Brentwood Town Centre's North West parking lot at 9:30AM.
If anyone wants to join in along the FVT route, then keep an eye on this page. We'll make stops at all the FVT stops, Valley View Mall, Chevron in Mission, etc. and I'll post up.
This is a great opportunity to learn or re-learn the FVT route.
Oh, did I mention that the forecast is for rain?  However, there's a chance that we can run ahead of the rain!!!

Well I think the original plan was to do the FVT as we do every year , then I think there was talk about doing the sea to sky to whistler in sept, but that seems to have already happened. Most of you s I'm sure don't want to do a states side trip either, but if you guys would like to, we should do a thumbs up or down to see who's interested.

Another DSM Tour would be great, early September would be great on a Sunday

Where we go, state side or in the lower mainland wouldn't matter to me

another big meet is fine, but I think that we should keep the FVT as it is, once a year, at the approximate same time.

lets have tons of other meets, some east, some west, some north, some south.  different days and times, maybe different things, but do em up.
91 Eagle Talon TSi 5spd awd.  GT-12, TriFlow Cams, 850s, Tial, JIC, Jackal, sticky rubber.
86 Merkur XR4Ti 5spd, rwd, turbo, 91,381km.  Original paint, heated leather. intercooled, big VAM, Full 3" exhaust, Cossie sway bar, 16" tires.
06 Mazdaspeed6 6spd awd, DISI turbo, heated leather HIDs, Corksport, Cobb, Konig, Centric...
2018 VW Golf Alltrack turbo Tornado Red, 6mt, some free mods

There is interest on the FB site.  Possibly 13 DSMs aiming for a FVT run the first few weeks of September.

A few of us made the mid-week run ahead of the rains forecast for this weekend.  Enjoy the pics; we sure did appreciate the FVT II 2015 run.
