Fraser Valley Tour 2016
« on: March 14, 2016, 09:30:00 am »
Well the time has come to plan out the FVT for this current year.

It will be a difficult year for me to make work on the last week of July, as my 3rd baby is due july 26th.

But even if I am unable attend, I'm sure there will be others that can take my place.   When do you guys think for a date? It has to be on a Sunday, so it accommodates as many people as possible with their day off.

Okay, so August 7th works then,

Now as some of you know, I have a baby due in the end of july, and am currently doing a massive renovation project on my house (haha great timing, I know).  anyways I am finding it hard to set time aside for the planning of the tour this year.  Wondering if some people can help out on setting it up and organizing it this year.  I don't plan on doing the usual food/BBQ/Raffle thing (unless someone wanted to set that up)  Anyways probably best bet would be to just go out for lunch at one of the local resturants at Harrison hot springs.  I know we have done this years previous as well, and it was always enjoyable.

Let me know if you can help out.  Thanks.

lunch at a restaurant is fine for me, great time the last time we did it, and maybe the restaurant we choose would have a great parking lot like last time....reserved.......

orrrr..... maybe we change it up a bit and after the run from Maple Ridge to Mission we could stop at my place and have lunch.  we can do up a bbq thing, and then don't have to worry about set up or clean up cause it will all be here already.  (Assuming there is money for some hotdogs and stuff)

Also, I would like to plan to take the lead from Maple Ridge to Mission and in doing so will add a bit of flavour to the route.  And by flavour, I mean a slight variation to the norm.

Aug 7th.  works for me and I will put in a raffle prize if we do decide to do that.
