Ok i dont know what happened at the back of the pack, but i led the entire way. Off the freeway all posted speed limits were followed 99.9% of the time.
On the freeway, yes there were a few brief open throttle moments but for the most part the speed was only just slightly faster than the flow of traffic. Which is by no means an excessive amount of speed. Yes some people got caught up by traffic and one light but in the future, be assured that you do not NEED to do 160 to catch up, i slowed down and tried to keep tabs on whether everyone was caught up as best i could with mirrors.
I think this has been completely blown out of proportion, from what i observed this was no more spirited than any other cruise we've done, infact if i had to rate it i'd say it was one of the least so that i've been on. A dozen dsms doing 20km/h through those winding roads in the park sure got a lot of looks
For those of you that weren't there, i'm sorry, no offence, but i'm ignoring anything you have to say based on the small bit of info that's been posted on here.
There were 10-15 cars in total.
Jared we've had many meets with 20+ turnout seems to grow in the summer. I still hope that we can cross the 30+ mark for the next Fraser Valley Tour.
