1/2 price classical baroque concert in Jan.
« on: December 17, 2004, 09:10:28 am »
I heard this small but superb ensemble for the first time Dec 5. Sadly they’re in a financial bind and rather than donating directly to them I’m trying to help by encouraging others to attend by subsidizing ticket cost.

I’ll pay ~½ your ticket cost:
Adults $15 (reg. 31)
Seniors $11 (reg. 23)
Students (of all ages) $6 (reg. 12)
Children under 5 (accompanied by an adult) Free

I’ll reimburse there or you can show me ticket/stub. I highly doubt they’ll sell out so there’s no need for advance purchase. But if it’ll be an Xmas gift then you’d probably want to call to order.

Venues are 2 churches so seating is unassigned. I came 30 mins early and got a prime center first pew seat only 12’ from the ensemble.

Hey An,

Do you know where "St. Augustine Church" is in Vancouver?

I'm gonna check with my GF to see if she has that night off... if we go, we'll pay full price since we're both students and it's only $12 anyway.  :)

You must either be 1) hugely into Baroque ensembles, or 2) trying to pick-up one of the members.  :P
