service engine light on

ok, i've done everysingle maintance for my car and changed almost every part in my engine and did a boost leak test and cleaned out my engine...but everytime i reset the engine lights it always comes back on and when it comes back it always show nothin' but "unknown code" or somthin' like that...but yesterday i just noticed that the lights comes on when i shift

take it to a shop and have them plug it in then you'll know for sure!! deffinatly won't come back as un known  mine did that for a bit and thats what I had to do
