Ok, will a 91 JDM Eclipse AWD 5spd tranny fit into a jan92 build awd Talon **IF** I use the transfercase that came with the 91 JDM tranny?
91 Eagle Talon TSi 5spd awd.  GT-12, TriFlow Cams, 850s, Tial, JIC, Jackal, sticky rubber.
86 Merkur XR4Ti 5spd, rwd, turbo, 91,381km.  Original paint, heated leather. intercooled, big VAM, Full 3" exhaust, Cossie sway bar, 16" tires.
06 Mazdaspeed6 6spd awd, DISI turbo, heated leather HIDs, Corksport, Cobb, Konig, Centric...
2018 VW Golf Alltrack turbo Tornado Red, 6mt, some free mods

no fitment issues, just bolt it up and go?

I just don't want to spend $$$ on parts and shipping, then all the time involved just to see its close  ;)

As far as I understand, the only difference that will effect things is the different output shaft splines. Which wouldn't matter if you plan on using the jdm Xfer case.

I did a trans swap last summer. The 91 should be a 22 spline, 92 a 23 spline.

*SOME* 91's came with the '90 "22-spline" xfer case.  I don't know what months this affects (similar situation to the late 92's comming with the 93+ 7bolt bottom end)

Again tho, if you're using the JDM xfer case, it won't be a problem.
