Keyless entry programming
« on: August 23, 2008, 08:39:22 pm »
So I have a key fob and i've found the reciever for the keyless entry, but i cant seem to program it.  've already found the instructs (have to ground pin 1 on 16 pin harness).  But i cant seem to find this 16 pin harness and i dont know which one would be pin 1 on the harness.  Anybody know the answer to this?

Thanks guys

with my experience with alarms, whether it be factory or aftermarket, the most common way of programming a faub (yes, that's actually how you spell it) is to put the key in the ignition, switch it from Acc to On 5 times ending with the key in the On position then pressing the lock/unlock button on the faub. works with my CompuStar, Arctic Start alarms, most if not all Fords and most if not all Nissans.
Good luck
I dont care what anyone says about my car. It only had 1 error code.
