Next Vic/VI cruise?
« on: August 11, 2006, 12:52:01 pm »
Hey wondering when you guys are planning your next cruise/meet in the Vic area? I joined the forum not too long ago and would love to see some other DSMers in the area! Do you Vic guys have a monthly parking lot meet/cruise? I was reading something on revscene about friday night meets at the saveon parking lot?

Well sheeeeeeet.  It's not that we can't organize a meet, its that we cant get our hung over asses out to a meet.
Yea lets do it next weekend then, that'll give me an excuse not to go up to comox to hang out with my gf, and i'm all for that idea.
I dont even know how many cars we can get togeather though, but yea i'm down for next friday or saturday.

Ya exactly, I'm definitely down for next fri or sat....I say we take some initiative and just say meet on fri/sat night...whoever can make it, cool. Just meet there, chill for a bit, then burn downtown or whatever else...one of you more senior guys decide on time/location and its set!

We don't have monthly meets, it's more of a yearly thing.  Friday works for me but not Saturday.

Cool should be good.  I spent alot of time workin on my car today trying to figure out my cooling system problem, still not fully sure wtf is goin on.  Could be headgasket maybe, hopefully not.  But the car drives fine, so I should have it there, but i'll be there no matter if i have it or not.

I dont think theres white smoke, no loss in power, couldn't it just be like a really small leak.  I replaced the lower and upper hoses with new clamps, the thermostat and gasket, the rad cap, and another little tiny coolant hose coming off the thermostat housing and i'm still losing coolant somehow.
