All parts pictured are from the Ebay guy. The cams were $350 US and he has lots more, and three different grinds available. Mine are the 272's

Had to take the classic pic 8)

If I seem to look kind of unhappy it's because I have coolant leaking down my crack from the heater pipes.

The timing belt seems to be good one.  They say 4 times better than OEM and in second generation even improved 2.6 times over the first generation...... (English site ad translated a bit different from Japanese site.)

Yeah, the extra expense for the good timing belt will help me sleep at night

Well, after too much delay for my liking, the head, vavles, valve seals, crank, pistons, rods, and flywheel have all gone to Dr. Thompson's Spa for a bit of extra special attention. I gotta drop off the main caps in the morning though...I had no idea those are needed to bore cylinders :P

Anticipation is building. Next week will be fun

Or the wrong shop. J/K it seems reasonable.

Now get it together and start breaking it in then you can decide if it's worth it. :D

Yeah, I'm sure once it's broken in, tuned and I put my foot into it and bang through the gears again I will have been willing to hand over more.

Here are some pics of the stuff I got back from the shop:
BEFORE

AFTER

The block isn't pictured because my stepdad had it masked and primed before I got out the camera. He's gotten very involved
