Crank, pistons, front/rear covers, oil pan, head, cams and almost all pullies are on. More pics to come 8)

FYI: I did decide to use a very thin layer of aerosol High-Tack on the MLS gasket. So far I'm loving the stuff. Made other gaskets go on so easy.

Mark recommended it. He says he uses it on HG all the time.

This pic is from Saturday morning:

Here is where I'm at as of tonight:

The SBR pressure plate really clashes with my colour scheme :(

Better cover it up with the tranny :)

Note the nice SS oil line. Now my EVO-III feeds straight from the filter.

I decided to call it quits before trying to struggle it into the bay. That will come next though. One PITA about having a phenolic IM spacer is that you can't use that three-point hoist support anymore, so one of the bell housing bolts and a handy steel plate had to do.
It's gone slower than I wanted but I'm almost done now....CAN'T WAIT! 8)

After some CAS, MAF, and clutch issues, my car is now running very strong. It has crazy top end even with only 15Psi. Wayne and I logged it the other night and even with just a rough quick tune I get the odd single count of knock and that is it.

It has 600kms on it now and soon I will be getting a GM MAF setup and my EPROM and then looking to trade up the 550 injectors for larger ones.

It's going to be a fun Spring 8)

Quote from: "Jeremy Clarke"
Just got home from picking up all my stuff from the machine shop....and man does my ass hurt.

1G Rods/2G Pistons:
$160 - Bore pin ends .040"
$120 - Narrow pin ends 0.10" press on pistons & balance

Did you buy your pistons from guit-guit on ebay? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MITSUBISHI-4G63T-TDO5H-16G-PISTONS-JDM-2G-FREE-SHIP-1G_W0QQitemZ8063447442QQcategoryZ33623QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I am looking to purchase the same ones but the ad says you only need about $40 worth of machining??? Also how do you like them?

Thanks
Eric
